Tesla’s stock took a big hit, and Elon Musk gathered his employees to calm their nerves. He acknowledged the “stormy weather,” joking about seeing Teslas on fire in the news, and urged everyone to hold onto their stock.
Musk reassured them about Tesla’s future, promising self-driving cars soon, even though those promises haven’t fully materialized yet. He also highlighted the Model Y’s popularity, claiming it’s the best-selling car in the world.
But it’s not all smooth sailing. Tesla is facing political backlash, with protests and vandalism linked to Musk’s involvement with Donald Trump. Sales have also dipped, and production of the Model Y was paused for upgrades.
Musk, however, remained optimistic, talking about new, affordable models and a bright future for Tesla. He even hinted at building electric planes someday, despite already juggling “17 jobs.”
Analysts see this meeting as Musk’s attempt to steer Tesla through a tough period, after facing criticism for neglecting the company. He needed to show his employees, and the world, that he’s still focused on Tesla’s success, even amidst the chaos.
