Tesla is offering three months of free Full Self-Driving (FSD) subscriptions and Supercharging to customers in North America who purchase and take delivery of a new inventory vehicle by December 31. This move is part of the company’s strategy to boost annual delivery numbers.

What’s the Deal?

The offer applies to all Tesla models, including the newly launched Cybertruck. Customers who take delivery of an inventory vehicle between November 14 and December 31 can qualify. Previously, Cybertruck buyers had to custom-order their vehicles and wait for delivery, but now they can choose directly from inventory.

Tesla is also offering discounts on certain inventory vehicles in the U.S. and deals in other regions, including Europe, as part of its push to increase sales.

Why It Matters

Tesla needs to deliver at least 514,926 vehicles in the last three months of the year to exceed its 2022 global total of 1,808,581 vehicles. This is a challenging target, as Tesla has never delivered over 500,000 vehicles in a single quarter.

In Q3, Tesla delivered 462,890 vehicles, a 6.4% increase year-over-year and a 4.3% rise from the previous quarter. However, the company faced a drop in deliveries earlier this year, with an 8.5% decline in Q1 and a 4.8% decline in Q2.

Tesla’s latest offers are part of its strategy to finish the year strong and set a new quarterly delivery record.
