Samsung says Galaxy Ring will not support Apple iOS

Galaxy Ring will not be supported on iPhones. According to an article by GSMArena, At the recent Mobile World Congress, Samsung’s VP, Hon Pak, announced the Galaxy Ring but stressed it wouldn’t work with iPhones, signaling a strategic decision by Samsung.

Pak expressed confidence in the Galaxy Ring while acknowledging compatibility limitations between Android and iOS. He emphasized that Samsung devices offer a compelling alternative, and the company is prioritizing integration with a broader range of Android phones, not just their own.

What we know so far about the Galaxy Ring

So far, we know that the Galaxy Ring will come in various sizes and boasts a battery life of 5 to 9 days. The battery capacity varies depending on the size you choose, with smaller rings using a 14 mAh battery and larger ones packing a 21.5 mAh battery.

Samsung has not confirmed a release date for the Galaxy Ring, but rumors suggest it might launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 at a possible Unpacked event in July.
