Apple is one of those companies that aims to provide its users with the best experience from the moment they start using a new device. Apple will now update unboxed iPhones using a special gadget to ensure every iPhone runs the latest operating system right out of the box. According to a report by iGeneration, which got an early look into this device, they claim it resembles a toaster oven.

Apple is going the extra mile to design a new device to ensure every new iPhone comes with the latest software. These updates typically include bug fixes, security patches, and sometimes new features. This update method will ensure that even iPhones that remain in Apple Stores for longer are running the latest operating system.

Of course, many users may not really care about this move. But that doesn’t diminish the importance of new iPhones, which come with the latest software updates and all the security patches and fixes for early issues detected in newly released iPhones.

We heard about this with the iPhone 15 models that had an overheating issue. Apple addressed this issue in a software update a few weeks after the release of these iPhones.
