Jackman cuts chops as Deadpool 3 now done

There’s nothing like the feeling after getting a trim at the barber.

On Wednesday, 55-year-old actor Hugh Jackman took to Instagram to announce he’d finished filming Deadpool 3 alongside his pal Ryan Reynolds. In a playful video, Jackman declared “it’s time to shave” as he shed his iconic Wolverine beard and received a haircut.

The time-lapse clip shows Jackman saying goodbye to his signature X-Men look. In the caption, he expressed his gratitude to Reynolds (47) and director Shawn Levy, while also sharing a lighthearted jab at the less glamorous aspects of superhero moviemaking.



What we know so far about Deadpool 3

This will be Deadpool’s first official foray into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, marking a significant moment for both franchises. Not much is known about the plot of the movie yet, but it’s rumored to be a time travel adventure that will explore the multiverse.

The movie opens up various possibilities for storylines with established MCU characters, which will undoubtedly be explored with Deadpool’s signature fourth-wall-breaking antics. We can expect plenty of action, comedy, and the signature Deadpool dark and hilarious sense of humor.

Originally scheduled for release in May 2024, Deadpool 3 was pushed back to July 26, 2024, due to various reasons, including the Hollywood writers’ and actors’ strikes. With Jackman’s return alongside Reynolds, it’s sure to generate a lot of attention.
