Hulu has announced a sixth season — and possibly more — of The Kardashians.
The Disney-owned streaming service has ordered 20 additional episodes of the popular unscripted series, which follows the lives of the Kardashian family. This renewal comes just one day before the show’s fifth season finale.
It remains unclear how these 20 episodes will be released. Since the Kardashians moved to Hulu after 14 years and 20 seasons of Keeping Up With the Kardashians on E!, each season on Hulu has consisted of 10 episodes. If this pattern continues, the new order could mean two more seasons. However, no definitive plan has been confirmed yet.
Season five of The Kardashians premiered on May 23. According to Hulu, it was the most-watched unscripted premiere of the year so far, both in the U.S. on Hulu and internationally on Disney+ and Star+ (though specific viewing numbers were not disclosed).
The fifth season was filmed in late 2023 and covered various events, including Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s pregnancy complications, a health scare for Kris Jenner, and the usual intrafamily drama.
The show is executive produced by Fulwell 73’s Ben Winston, Emma Conway, Elizabeth Jones, and showrunner Danielle King. Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian Barker, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner also serve as executive producers.
