The new feature is easy to find with a prominent prompt on your YouTube Music Home screen. Just tap it and use the simple chat interface to type your request. Let the AI know what kind of music you’re in the mood for, and it will create a personalized radio station for you.
Want to skip typing? Just speak your request with voice control! YTM even offers some inspiration with suggested prompts like “Catchy pop choruses” or “Epic soundtracks.” Feeling adventurous? Hit “Surprise me!” and let the AI create a radio station that’s totally unexpected. Results may vary. Keep prompts appropriate.
Once you describe what you’re looking for, YouTube Music will create a custom radio station just for you! Look for your prompt as the station name, along with a “Created for you” label and a description to give you a taste of what’s to come.
