Seth Rollins Shuts Down Captain America Cameo Rumors: ‘Not Me, Kid’
On Saturday, Marvel released a new Captain America: Brave New World trailer at D23 Brazil, offering a fresh look at the February release starring Harrison Ford and Anthony Mackie. Midway through, a masked soldier appears, showing only their eyes.
Wrestling fans quickly speculated it could be WWE star Seth Rollins, as rumors suggested he might appear as part of the Serpent Society.
After checking out the trailer, I admit that there is a resemblance. However, Rollins set the record straight on X, responding to a fan’s question with, “Not me, kid. Sorry.”
Entertainment reporter Brandon Davis previously shared that Rollins was reportedly cut from the film for reasons outside his control. If true, he joins others like his wife, Becky Lynch, who was cut from Eternals, and Damian Priest, who exited Black Panther 2.
