After launching in 2021, Google Fi’s Simply Unlimited plan is seeing a price increase for users with three or more lines on the plan. For groups with 1 or 2 lines, the price remains unchanged.

The price for Simply Unlimited plans has increased for groups with 3 or more lines:

  • 3 lines: $90 (previously $80)
  • 4 lines: $100 (previously $80)
  • 5 lines: $125 (previously $100)
  • 6 lines: $150 (previously $120)

The price increase for Simply Unlimited plans with 3+ lines starts on your first bill after April 4, 2024.

Accounts with active promotions or financed devices before March 5, 2024, will keep their current price until those commitments end. These accounts will receive plan credits to maintain the original price throughout the commitment period.

Leaving the plan means losing your credit, but remaining members keep it.

The new pricing applies to new members starting today. Google cites “continuing to deliver high-quality products and features” as the reason for the change. Note that Fi Flexible and Unlimited Plus remain unaffected, and Simply Unlimited benefits stay the same:

  • 35 GB of high-speed data
  • Unlimited calls and texts in the US, Canada, and Mexico
  • 5 GB of hotspot tethering
  • Smartwatch connectivity

Google introduced the Simply Unlimited plan in 2021 and reduced its price the following year. In 2023, they implemented a modest $5 price increase for plans with three lines, coinciding with the rebranding to Fi Wireless.
