A Netflix representative stated, “The technology served its purpose but is now limiting as we focus on technological efforts in other areas.”

This move fits Netflix’s broader strategy to enhance its gaming offerings, including mobile and cloud-based games. The company has been investing in developing and acquiring game studios to expand its gaming portfolio.

Subscribers interested in experiencing these interactive titles should do so before December 1, 2024, as they will no longer be available on the platform after that date.
