Apple is certainly a pro when it comes to building compelling suspense. That’s for sure.

In their recent Apple Vision Pro ad, Apple sets the stage by drawing comparisons with superheroes such as Marvel’s Ant-Man and Iron Man gearing up in their super-suits, specifically putting on masks and goggles. The ad draws inspiration from other big cult TV shows and movies like Star Wars, Spongebob Squarepants, and Star Trek as a clever way to broaden appeal.

By engaging customers to “Get Ready”, there’s no doubt that there will be a frenzy around its new product.

What is the Vision Pro?

The Vision Pro is Apple’s latest venture into the AR/VR space – a virtual reality headset designed to perfectly blend digital content with physical space. The next-generation Vision Pro mixed reality headset is expected to have more than a few flashy features. Advanced AR/VR capabilities and spatial computing are just the beginning of what the Vision Pro can do.

Pre-order and Launch Information

After first announcing the product in June of 2023, Apple has set the pre-order date to January 19, 2024. Currently, the launch date is slated for February 2, 2024. On launch date, customers can find the Vision Pro online and in Apple Store locations across the US.

Pricing and Availability

Along with the hype comes a hefty price tag and limited units for the launch of the Apple Vision Pro. Starting at $3,499 (U.S.), Apple expects to release 60,000-80,000 units of the Vision Pro.

Per Apple, Customers will be able to learn about, experience, and personalize their fit for Vision Pro at Apple Store locations. For more information about Vision Pro, visit apple.com/apple-vision-pro.

What to Expect with the Vision Pro

Many believe that Apple will be very successful, stating that it is reminiscent of the original iPhone ad, titled “Hello.” Many customers have high expectations for the Vision Pro, and not without good reason. This game-changing mixed reality headset is expected to transform the way people work, communicate, and collaborate. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Pun intended.
