In an effort to boost user engagement and make the platform more interactive, LinkedIn is reportedly developing a new feature that will allow users to compete in games with their connections.

Inspired by games like Wordle, LinkedIn is developing a new feature. Your scores will be linked to your workplace, allowing you to compete with colleagues and even other companies. Players’ scores will be sorted by their workplace and ranked, allowing you to challenge other offices across the country.

Based on names like “Queens,” “Inference,” and “Crossclimb,” the games are likely to be quick, skill-testing games involving logic, wordplay, or problem-solving. LinkedIn confirmed they’re developing puzzle games for their platform.

While a release date remains under wraps, a spokesperson says the goal is to “add a fun element, strengthen connections, and spark conversations.” They also clarified that the game designs shared online are not the latest versions.
