According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is reportedly preparing to launch an updated version of its popular AirTag tracker. The original AirTag, released in 2021, was a hit for helping users keep track of keys, wallets, and other valuables using their iPhones.

The new version is expected to look similar to the current model but will include key upgrades. One major improvement is enhanced range, allowing users to track items farther away. It also features a more powerful wireless chip, boosting performance and efficiency.

Privacy concerns have also been addressed. Apple is making it harder to tamper with the speaker, a step aimed at preventing misuse, such as stalking. Apple hopes to ensure AirTags remain safe and reliable by improving these privacy features.

The new AirTag is just one of many products Apple has in the works for 2025. The company is also expected to release updates to the iPhone, Apple Watch, MacBook Pro, iPad Air, and other devices, along with a new smart home display. It’s shaping up to be a busy year for Apple, and the improved AirTag could once again change how people keep track of their belongings.
