Google started as a search engine but has grown into a huge network of software and services. If you use Google often, you know how helpful it can be on any platform. Now, Google is making it easier to install its apps with the new Google Essentials app.

According to Google’s Keyword blog, this app is designed for Windows and will first appear on HP’s Windows devices, like their popular laptops. While it’s not confirmed yet, the app might be available to all Windows users later. We’ve asked Google for more details and will update this article when we know more.

Google Essentials will be right in the Windows start menu, making it easy to access some of Google’s top apps and services. For example, if you enjoy gaming on Google Play Games but want a bigger screen, this app lets you play thousands of games on both mobile and PC. Your game progress will sync across devices, so you can pick up where you left off. You’ll also have access to Google’s productivity apps, like Google Docs for writing documents and Google Calendar for checking your schedule.

If you want to stay connected with friends, you can use Google Messages on your PC, too. If you don’t need something, you can remove it. Google is also offering a two-month free trial of Google One for those who qualify.
